A global leader in diabetes care, embarked on a multi-phased strategic initiative to develop innovative diabetes monitoring solutions.
The aim was to empower people with diabetes to live healthy and active lives.
Approach
M/A/R/C® developed a multi-year holistic program focused on:
- Global Tracking: Qualitative insight into unmet needs experienced by Patients, HCPs and Certified Diabetes Educators; informed by quantitative tracking.
- Concept Development: Early-stage testing (qualitative and quantitative) of interest in variations of digital glucose monitoring products; gauge concept effectiveness.
- Product Innovation: Continuous development through gamification testing using M/A/R/C®’s Sort Methodology to enhance app development and usage.
- Message Testing: Qualitative message testing among HCPs, payers, pharmacists, and diabetes care patients to optimize key messages.
Outcome
- Comprehensive innovation approach aided client to develop cutting-edge products to best meet the needs of multiple patient and professional stakeholders.
- Client is utilizing this approach for development of self-care insulin management solutions. Messaging optimized to best educate and communicate key benefits to various stakeholders.
